She's off party planning every year until she's not. Actually, I think the only party she hasn't planned as her quiet steak dinner.

Here she is trying to figure out how we planned that right in front of her.

Bad News, Ju Kooners. Saturday, October 1 conflicts with Gay Day. Haven't been to that in ages, but I'm going this year.

Howzabout moving it back to the original planned Friday, September 30?

Nope.

Please refer to FB thread.

We're not doing Gay Day. I no longer have an AP and I refuse to pay $175 just to get the two of us into DL for one day.

So, NA - I seem to remember you writing something on the FB Jukoon page that you had something in mind for this year's Ju Koon, or at least the water ceremony or a starting point. Is that the case?

If so, can you please let us in on where and when, at least the start? Perhaps it would be possible to have cake and eat it, too.

Edited to add: Ah, I see - general location and precise time posted in JK @ FB, specific locale to be announced there on Fri, 9/30. Works.

Hmmm, someone might want to try this for next year's JuKoon!

I'll settle for tossing bread effigies into the Pacific.

Maybe with some tinsel mixed in?

So, how was this year's JuKoon?

And what was this year's JuKoon?
