What is something frivilous she wants? |

Personally, I think they'd be cool on your balcony. I saw a pair in an antique store yesterday and I seriously considered them for my backyard. They'd look so cool under the arbor. Be creative, man!
|
They would be cool there, but with 2 bikes, a BBQ, and 2 plant shelving dealies, there ain't much room out there anymore. I'd love them for my future dream game room, but I don't want to live with them for eons only to never have a use (especially with no garage to stash them in).

And this is why I love having a garage so much.
Aren't relationships all about balance? I'm sure CP would be happy to let you purchase that....thing.... Provided, of course, that she simultaneously acquires something twive as expensive that she has been coveting. |

All of the coolest stuff always ends up in the garage! My garage, before I moved, had an Asteroids arcade game & a custom decorated & pinstriped 1950's fridge repainted sparkling pink! Go for it, GD! The trick is to make her happy, too. Why not purchase CP something as cool as she is? Here's an idea- purchase the seats, but make sure CP has lots of brand-new fluffy Disneyland Shag pillows to place on them. See? Everybody wins! :D Sometimes we purchase things we so don't need, but nonetheless are a part of history and make us happy. Take it from the girl who shelled out to buy an old blue and yellow Disneyland Tram Sign featuring Pinnochio. It's 8 feet tall, 3 feet wide, and YES, it sits in storage. :( I mean, aside from turning it into a bitchen' bar, what am I going to do with it? However, it's a piece of Disneyland and I get all excited when I think about how it sat at my favorite place on earth for years, getting sun beaten and rain battered. :) You should talk to Flubber, GD. He owns two Padres stadium seats. I once saw them in all of their screaming orange glory- sitting in his garage! I just asked him this morning whatever happened to them. Like all cool stuff? They sit in storage. ;) |
$250 is NOTHING. But, I think that money exists to make my life happier. Yeah, I save, but I also buy things that catch my fancy, practical or not.
|
It's less the money than the fact that there's nowhere to put the thing.

Yet.

...nor anywhere to store it until "yet" happens.
