I was going off the website and their claim you can use it as a desktop as well.

I have a feeling that in a decade we'll be hauling around computers like that in our pockets. After all, most of us carry some sort of storage device on ourselves already, whether it's a USB data keychain, an iPod, or flash memory on your camera phone. If/When computers become mass-produced that tiny in the future, we may be expected to bring our computers with us. Dig that!

It would be awesome if they sold that along with a docking station that included your basic IO ports, as well as a DVD drive to load software.

How long til it gets Linux?

From their website sounds like they are including something to do just that, now the DVD drive I am not sure about, but I am guessing there would be a way to hook up an external dvd drive.

It's got a USB port, as well as firewire. Any USB or firewire drive would work.

Cool toy, I had been waiting for this one to come out. I guess there will be plenty of competition, fo rthis type of device.

I should check and see if they need beta testers for their products.

Not long. Rumor has it that they will be releasing Linux drivers for the hardware.
