More power to them, but I do always wonder why they'd want to worship a god either so malignant that he would let such a thing happen until explicitly begged to make it stop or so careless that she failed to notice what was happening until it was brought to his attention.
I believe the appropriate response to such a power is not abject worship but underground resistance. |

Apparently not. |
Well, if god hasn't stopped it yet that doesn't necessarily mean he is cruel. There could be a very valid reason this is the best way for things to happen. God works in mysterious ways and all that.
However, if she hasn't stopped it yet only because he hasn't yet been formally asked in the correct way, that doesn't bode well for its character. So, assuming they exist, the only reassuring response from God would be "no." |
I tried to read the whole bill, but Acrobat asked me if I trusted the site. I had to conclude that I didn't.

Woman Sets Fire to Office to Get Out of Work Early
This is a double WTF. Firstly the obvious. Seriously lady, you lit your place on fire just to leave work early?!? But also, the news paper reporting this story gave her exact home address. Is this common? What gives them the (moral) right to do that? |
A bit odd for them to publish it, but it's probably publicly-available information via court documents, or phonebook.
|
If she's spending 9 months in jail, I guess that isn't really her address anymore.
