I have been watching this with some interest. I can't believe that the best way to dispose of a house full of bombs and bomb material is to burn it down. This just isn't going to go well.

Kevy I agree with you. They're erecting a 16 ft metal fence to protect the neighbors property. I don't think they have any idea what's really in there. But then from photos the house looks like a hoarders house and it's not safe for them to go in there and poke around.

I feel bad for the homeowner. He was renting to this guy. So his home gets burned to the ground.

On the other hand, whenever a group acts with such an over abundance of caution it turns out to be completely unwarranted.

I predict that a 4th of July sparkler will put on a better show.

Then there is the exploding whale of 1970 in Oregon. If you have never seen this, prepare to laugh your demented arse off.

I'm well aware of the exploding whale, being from that part of the country (and a Dave Barry devotee once upon a time).
