Boy do we live in an amazing world where that can be precisely determined in less than a minute from thinking of it.

Jumping from the top of the Matterhorn onto the nearest castle spire is 276 horizontal feet.

Maybe if Bornieo was launched somehow... like with a cannon...

Move Tink's wire a little bit, and let go at the right moment.

But the launch can't kill him - that needs to occur when he hits the spire.

And it needs to be a fairly vertical impact on the tip of the spire so that he will be successfully impaled. So, the flight path would need to be a fairly (vertically) steep parabola.

Perhaps a cleverly placed series of trampolines could be employed?

That might work....

How hard would it be to simply slide down the Tink wire with your bare hands, such that they were cut clean thru by the time you are directly over a Castle spire?

Disneyphile 07-15-2008 03:32 PM

I notice this has rapidly become the "Kill Bornieo" thread.

Poor Bornieo.

Now, we just need to make sure to take out some life insurance on him. ;)

You guys take the fun out of everthing with your damn mathamatics...

Disneyphile 07-15-2008 03:49 PM

We also need to consider the exact point of impact to make sure it fully impales and doesn't just bend or worse, snap off, thus hurting the castle, ruining the joy of millions of people.
