Reporting from Chicago— Calling it a "tragically bizarre" case, an Illinois appeals court has ruled that a man killed by a train while crossing the tracks at a Chicago Metra station can be held responsible after part of his body struck and injured a bystander.

I had paypal issues as well. I set up an account for my class reunion and accidentally hit the "nonprofit" button. Realizing it wasn't a non-profit I tried to switch it back. No can do, then they locked the account because it wasn't a verified non-profit. Yes I know I hit the wrong button can you just change it back? No you have to verify to us that you are not a non-profit.

Weird. Got a text tonight from an unknown 323 number.

"Hey friend just wanted to make sure you kno I'm having a Birthday party at my house this Saturday nite, Jan. 7th. [address redacted]. Starts at 930 PM goes til late".

I googled the address, it's a nice looking home in Los Feliz and comes back as the official address for some guy's seemingly legit private architectural design company.

Odd.
