May not be too hard if you have Boomerang. The character for the month of January is Barney Rubble. Really glad I have kids who like *shudder* retro cartoons.

Seriously. I watch some of these anime or adult swin or Yu Ge Goh (?) cartoons and I'm not sure what they're saying, doing or even what certain characters are. I guess I'm just old-fashioned like that. When I sit on my rocking chair to watch cartoons, eating ribbon candy and drinking Nehi soda, I want wholesome Disney, Looney Tunes or Hanna Barera cartoons. :)

Agreed there. My son loves YuGiOh! and I just don't understand it. If you think the cartoon is confusing, try playing the card game. It makes my head spin.....

There are some really super lame cartoons out there. The kids really enjoy watching The Flinestones, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, and Scooby Doo. They like the cartoons on Disney Channel, although I refuse to let them watch Gargoyles and Dave the Barbarian. (OK, we are somewhat careful about the TOm & Jerry cartoons we will let them watch.)

Brian looooves House of Mouse a whole lot. As the kids are waking up in the morning, their cartoon of choice is Baby Looney Tunes. I may be contrived, dumbed down with not so subtle moral of the story endings, but they really like it.

If YuGiOh was out walking around in the real world, he'd have been locked away long ago. That kat just doesn't know how to kool his jets!

OMG... I have to agree with you there! My son got the duel disk(?), the thing that goes on his arm and holds the cards. He always wants me to play the cards with him. I tell him we'll make a play date with his cousin and he can play all he wants!

I'm glad my boy enjoys the old cartoons.

Back on topic... I don't think I have ever been swank or hip in my life but it sures seems like a lot of fun :o

That YuGiOh! stuff. Just color me confused. I don't see how the kids pick it up so quick.

And check out the swank dictionary thing that CP linked to in this thread. It helps when you want to put cool sounding words together. And Welcome!!!!!
