It's so hot outside that there was a knock at the door and it was my front lawn wanting to come in.

Ya know, everybody says they like it cold cuz you can put on more clothes... but once I'm cold, I'm cold until I spend a long time at 80 degrees ambient temperature.

I hate cold. Lived with cold. Done with that. Now I live in CA where it's warm.

Move to Florida. Lots of us are part lizard.

Me too.

Sheesh, I'm melting. I feel like parts of me are sloughing off and I'll not find them until next year. I hate summer in the Valley with a special passion...

It's already getting dark earlier here and topping out in the 60s. :(

When I as in 4th grade, I lived up near WB in Vancouver, WA. Rained every flippin day. They made you go to recess in the rain. I only lived there 9 months, but it was more than enough. So I live in the desert now and that suits me just find.

Vantucky is on the other side of Washington from where I live. Spokane is far more moderate when it comes to rain, although we do tend to get a bit of snow on occasion.:D (It's much more Idaho or Montana around here). However, it's been resembling Arizona a great deal this past month or so.

I too grew up in Vancouver and they never made us go outside for recess in the rain. In fact we loved the rainy days because then we got to stay inside and play boardgames instead.

Of course, it really didn't rain that often. There was a heavy mist or light drizzle a lot but that's not really rain (if you can be outside for 20 minutes and it hasn't soaked through your coat, then it isn't raining so far as I'm concerned).

Yes, but here it will spawn "Storm Watch 2007!" reports on all the news shows!

People at work keep telling me how hot it is, but except for the 2 minute walk from my booth to the break room, I'm usually not out of A/C.

I have memories of kickball in downpours, soaked shoes constantly, and unsympathetic teachers. I hated it.
