Well Starbucks just put out its Halloween stuff this past week, so for you procrastinators, you might find some decorations there. They're also giving away a free download every day right now. :coffee:

What a great idea! We all have enough of an arsenal for a costume like this. You could even elbow kids out of the way to get pins, er, I mean, candy.

Dress in a nuns habit, hand out holy cards, and damn all the trick-or-treaters to hell before spritzing them with holy water. Ya know, something for them to remember you by....

Well, we are paid up through the 31st, so it's possible. That could be fun!

That so rules! :snap: Like CP said, totally elbow through people. Don't forget to also say to everyone, "Stop! I want to look for pins.", especially if they're not wearing any. ;)

You need a fanny pack to complete the ensemble

And no Kevy comment.

I usually head down to the West Hollywood festival with Mr. Al to check out the fruits and nuts. Sometimes I dress up. If anyone wants to join us please let me know! The costumes there are sooooooooooooooooooo amazing.

I'm thinking mebbe this year going with a friend as Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie (in prison garb) but.. we'll see :)

Hmm... that could be... amusing. What time must one arrive by in order to park?

I could make a fabulous overweight and out of touch Britney :)

We'll be at DCA with our 2-year-old niece. I almost wish we had done it on a different evening than Halloween proper - I'd like to see what kind of trick-or-treaters come around our neighborhood.

In appreciation of Party City...

I just got back from checking them out, and, to their credit, they have some genuinely GOOD Halloween decorations. I mean, actually creepy/scary stuff, of halfway decent quality.

Nice to see somebody is steering away from the litany of lipstick-clad skeletons, smiling pumpkins, and ugly but unscary witches making that obnoxious and clearly electronic wailing sound, that supermarkets and department stores seem to favor.

Party City has things like hideous hanging clowns (really disturbing ones!), decrepit angels of death, realistic-ish bats and rats. Even the cliche stuff (dead hung pirates, pirate skeletons, etc) is done as well as cliche stuff can be done.

Color me impressed, that little visit to look at this year's offerings was very fun.

Haha well parking is always an issue. I usually park around Al's right after work -- you'd hafta leave early from work that day for sure to do it. Once the sun goes down, you're gonna park farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. rrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I was going to wear all black and white- get some wings and be your average everyday generic fairy.

(get it?)

*sigh* DP said it was awful ;) but suggested bar codes- (now you get it...right? right?)
