Were the words worthy of the penmanship?

Lani used to know a woman who's writing was like the output of a caligraphy machine. Every time I saw some random jotting I just thought "this is so unworthy of it." Made me want to give her important tasks just to counteract that.

My penmanship is not worthy of any fine words, it's really quite terrible.

That is a marvellous acquisition, and one you should be very proud of. And he even knew foreign languages ;) I'm chuffed for you.
