I wonder where a good location would be for the "swanky urban commune".

I was thinking Tom Sawyer's Island but there is a lot of foot traffic. If we were to settle into the Lucky Fortune Cookery however, it would be months, if not years before we were noticed by anyone. And, we would have a pretty nice kitchen facility.

Oh, you want dreams, eh?

Well, there are a few things I am great at. One is bring together people and managing huge projects. But, there ain't no farm girl left in me.

I say we buy a loft in Down Town Somewhere, redo it, turn it into a performance, art, creative, gallery, educational space with studio space and fully equipped photo, ceramic and recording studio with a communal garden and dog park in the vacant lot next door. Oh, and we'd each have living quarters as well.

Can you IMAGINE how much fun our daily lives would be?

So we'd make money by selling the art stuff? Hmm, with that as our business plan, we'd all get to be starving artists together. ;)

Well, I've made the most money I have in my life selling art and coordinating art events.

Will there be a library, sewing room, and grand piano?

Not Afraid 02-24-2006 03:22 PM

Of course! Must have a music room. MBC is in charge of that.

If only we had a millionaire pope to bankroll us.

Can you wrangle publishing? If so, I'm in.

Not Afraid 02-24-2006 03:37 PM

It depends on what you mean my wrangle? Self publishish I've done. Dealing with big house is a PITA.
