Yeah, poor sweetie at his studio in the Valley...at least I'm on the West Side during the day! Although it's even so hot over here that I'm just having a ginormous Diet Coke for lunch...

According to Weather.com, it is currently 112° F in Death Valley, CA (although they say it only feels like 107° :rolleyes:)

It is currently 113° F in Baker, CA (although they say it feels like 114° - I don't get that!)

And it feels every bit of it, too. My office is located in Northridge. Hot stuff!

My boyfriend lives in Valencia, which gets even hotter! It was 106 degrees there yesterday afternoon and it felt every bit of it as well. We'll be a' roastin' tonight..

thats virtually freezing for Death Valley. in my dads infinite wisdom, he took us camping in DV for a couple of days during our usual 2 week camping trip in the summer one year. he called it camping, we called them survival trips. surprisingly, there were very few other folks there during that particular stretch. gee.....I wonder why...it was only 130*F the first day.
