I'm a musician (primarily keyboards and drums) who performs pretty regularly in the local area. :)

He's a ROCK STAR!

I had a totally different response for Ponine, but I chickened out.:D

MBC- our resident Rock God! Every commune needs one of those.

Rock star, rock god.. all good!
Though I doubt he needs a classically trained vocalist.
Surely, someone else out there does the rock style? ;)

We need a guy to keep the pulse (beat) for the group.

Cadaverous Pallor 02-27-2006 11:28 AM

I believe MBC does jazz also, if you can do the jazz vocalist thing...

MouseWife 02-27-2006 11:32 AM

That Guy, seems like you have a swanky party planned at the LoT commune. That should be schwell.

Me? So, I said you should be glad not to be me.

1} I still have the job issues. Glad that the Hubster has a job but it really sucks and he feels like you but he worries about finding a similar job with similar pay. So, he stays. Me? I told him to quit and let them repo his car. {LOL He said we would sell mine first} F the world. What can they do? But, I know when he was laid off for four months it was only fun because of his severance package. Otherwise we would have been in the depths of dispair. We did hit that the last month, I must say. Then, the new job was a pay cut and higher health costs. Does Disney have good bennies? I mean, besides getting into the park. :D

2} We did our taxes. Wasn't as bad as I feared. We don't owe too much and actually the Feds are giving some back.

I don't think I complained about anything else. But I will now.

Just saw our 11 year old off to camp. While this is normally a hard time it is harder this time because of those storms. And the fires that were up there. I only pray they have a good weather report and that they vacate if deemed necessary.

So, I will be fine until it is time for me to normally pick him up. This is his very first time away from home without us. He has stayed home while we've gone for an over nighter or two. But first time away.

When he gets back we have to figure out where to send him for middle school. The high school was the site of a recent stabbing. Joy joy joy.

Will this commune have schooling for those of us with kids?

Hope your day is going swell. Tell the misses Hey from me, okay?

Been there, done that. In a wilder, younger day.

Yes, thanks CP. I absolutely adore jazz and play it more often than rock these days. I was thinking we could do some standards, Ponine. Swank=Jazz, as far as I'm concerned.

Oh, but you should have seen me in my rock star days. I had more hair than your average yak. If I had a scanner, I could prove it, although I'm not so sure I would want to. :)

I picture you more as the "lounge lizard" type.
