You can't get a street view of her house, but judging from the overhead shot, it doesn't appear to be in the high-rent district of Florida.

Although a plot of land that size in most of Orange County (CA) would make that a million dollar property.

And what's with purple roof of the place on Royal Palm Avenue (upper left corner of the view linked above)?

I think the purple might be some sort of photographic anomaly. The building to the west has a weird purple glow on its north side, and that red truck looks a little too red. I think something weird happened to the colors in that image.

Yeah, it is an anomaly. If you look at the street view of the "purple roof" house, it looks more blue (with a tinge of red in it). Looks relatively nice from street view.

And apparently I was trying to get a street view of the perp's house based on the DRIVEWAY. You can get a true street view of the actual address.

Not that anyone cares at this point.

While it wasn't the building I work in, this one hits too close to home.

WTF?

I almost find it hard to believe that they weren't just ****ing with the world after the 30th game or so.

Unfortunately I expect that'll cause fifth-set tiebreakers to be implemented in other majors than just the U.S. Open. I hate fifth-set tie-breakers.

Ghoulish Delight 06-23-2010 04:12 PM

Have they stayed on server the whole time?

Alex 06-23-2010 05:03 PM

Yes, I believe so. And in the course of those 47 extra games there have only been six match points.

Yikes! Scary. Do you guys have any precautions against things like that happening?

In reading the story, it seems to be an internal matter that could have happened in just about any office (or at least ones that use contract employees):
Quote:

Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino says the man was an independent Social Services contractor who got into a dispute with an employee and attacked him on the sixth floor of the building at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
