Vengence is His!

It's good to know that God has shifted from the scattershot justice of hurricane Katrina to something less likely to hurt innocent bystanders.:snap:

I wonder if Pat keeps track of all this in his 'Big Book of Smitings'.

Pat writing in his book in goat's blood: "Let's see... Sharon, check. Now then...that was a smiting for Florida, a smiting for New Orleans, a to be determined smiting for San Francisco's Newsom, I denied ownership of the smiting of the minister electrocuted by his microphone, the smiting of the Boy Scout Leaders by lightning was not mine either..."

That cracks me up, GC. If I could mojo you I would.

I can't wait until Pat Robertson has a brain anuerysm or something. I will be sure to come up with some biblical reference that proves that God smote him or something.

It's fun to say 'smite', 'smiting' and 'smote'.

As in:
"Don't make me smite you."
"I am smiting the ants in my kitchen with RAID."
"Someone smote a cow so I could have a Big Mac."
:D

Robertson represents my views as a practicing, church going Christian about as much as Osama represents the views of the majority of Muslims in the USA.

Sad, really, that he is touted as a representative of Christians by the media. Don't get me wrong - he puts himself out there and said this stuff not even in a media interview. I just wish the media would quit publicizing his stupidity.

I, too, love this word in all it's incarnations and new usage. It's right up there with "Pogrom". As in "I organized a pogrom against the slugs and snails in the garden".

There's some sort of weird 'Fiddler' connection betwixt you and I, Ms. NA. Whenever I hear 'pogrom', I think 'Fiddler'. :D

Isn't there a little town if PA that is scheduled to be smote as well? You know, we really need to compile a list of Smitee's just so we can keep track and stuff. This has been a very smitey type year, and it's easy to forget who's next....
