Tankless Water heaters

Anyone have any experience with tankless water heaters? Good? Bad? If you have one, would you do it again?

Thanks

I have never been thanked by my water heater. It's too bad, really, because backwashing the hard water build up to keep it running effectively is a pain in the butt. I had to change the thermometer when it went bad and....

Oh. Tankless. Never mind. No experience with those.

No experience, but planning on buying one in the near future.

Are you considering gas or electric?

Got one about 4 months ago and I LOVE it for 2 reasons:

a) we never run out of hot water and
b) we have soooo much more room in our laundry room now.

love it love it love it.

Thanks NA, that's what I wanted to hear. You don't happen to remember the manufacturer do you?

DPR, I've been putting off starting a thread about this for weeks.

Glad you didn't!

The manufacturer's name starts with a T and it is Japanese, I think. I'm in Boston and can'tl look. It's gas.

And, sure you can touch my heater, baby. ;)

EDIT: Takagi is the brand.

You're too good to me ;)
