How would you like to do a 700 MB DVD rip transfer in 0.8 seconds?
Or open all Microsoft Office Apps in a half second?
Open all 53 programs in your start menu in 18.09 seconds?

Fun, but I'd rather have a Fusion-io ioDrive or two...

The demonstrations are jaw-dropping. :eek: :eek: :eek: Oh, how I wish for even a tiny part of that speed.

That would be STUPID expensive for those drives alone...

But I've got that Zalman 9700 heatsink/fan on one of my builds, and would LOVE to have a system with a ton of SSD goodness.

I've got 10,000 rpm Raptors and they don't even come close to the awesome that is SSD- maybe my next big build (which is now coming sooner than expected) - I'll probably RAID a few for the main drive, then use a big HD for storage only.
