An end of an era, indeed. It makes me sad for some reason.

I feel a tad nostalgic. But I can't remember the last time I had a roll of film developed. |

They say in less then ten years film will be so obscure that when somebody hears the Duran Duran song, 'Girls on Film', they'll say, "Why am I listening to Duran Duran?"
	Two minutes later, indeed. |

Dude... if I knew where my film camera was, it would make me wanna run out and shoot a last roll of the stuff, just because.

Wow. When GD graduated college, he got the gift of our first digital
That was only 8 years ago. And now Kodak film is dead. Unbelievable. |

What does Paul Simon have to say on the subject?

I have ten rolls of unshot Kodachrome Super 8 mm film in my closet. About six years ago, I shot a (really awful) film in that format, and had to have it processed at Dwayne's, the only lab left in the world that can process it. I guess I should do something with the rest of it. (It's expired, so I don't know what kind of results I'll get.)

I have a ton of pictures at my parents house but with digital photography it's SOOOOOOO much cheaper. Went to Paris last year and took 1500+ pictures. Couldn't do that with film.
