Usually, when restaurant prices are listed like this, that is the average price for the entree. If that is correct in this case, that IS an expensive restaurant. There are lot of great restaurants to be had for much less than that.

La Maschera Ristorante Editorial Review – by Martha Burr

In Short
Wood, leather, and mirrors lend Old-World Italian charm to this Pasadena spot. The luxe-gothic lounge features velvet chairs, settees and silk pillows, with Florentine iron lanterns casting dancing patterns on the violet-mocha-toned walls. A burnished wooden bar hosts a lively evening scene, with ambient music, elegant martinis and anextensive wine list. The more rustic dining room features a Tuscan-inspired menu including fresh fennel and steak salad, rolled eggplant with goat cheese, and wild mushroom gnocchi with tiger shrimp.
EATA: Here is there menu. The prices aren't that bad. Most entrees are in the $15-$25 range (some higher, some lower).
