I totally thought about John Waters too!! See the Japanese aren't really that much ahead of our in country visionaries are they????
I wonder that if you sit in the seats right under the machines, will that mean that you will leave the theatre smelling like all the scents used for the film?

Wasn't the idea of a scented movie experience something that was developed early on? I seem to remember reading something about this recently. Although it could've been in literature about Japan I read before our trip.

Actually, I had heard that one of the early concepts for Fantasia was to include scent elements, the idea being that you would have ushers walking the aisles at various points with incense like devices
