A Trip With *Non Believers*: The Report

On Monday, March 20th I was able to play tour guide for my aunt and cousin (older adults) from Nova Scotia and my mom. This was my aunt and cousins first trip to CA but have been to WDW "a really long time ago". My mom has a handful of trips under her belt (from when I was a kid) and *believes* because I do. My family purchased the 2-fer and visited DCA without me last week and were back to visit DL. They liked DCA.

The following chronicals our journey through Disneyland.

Our day was starting at noon. I arrived on time; and received a phone call while I was on the [WHAT] tram [what? I'm on the tram! I can't hear WHAT? I'll call you back]. With a half hour to kill (my family operates on a different clock) I cruised WoD looking at stuff. I emerged from WoD about 12:30 and met up with my family.

We went through bag check and witnessed a couple yelling at the CMs for stopping them after they barreled through the line, cutting in-front of at least 20 people because they "didn't have anything" on them. Security was on their way and we didn't see the outcome.

We made it through the front gates about 12:15. YAY!

Requisite photo at the flowers (no mom, you can't just walk up there, there is a kind-a line... yes mom, those people were there first..). As we strolled down Main St. everyone was impressed with Walts apartment and loved the feel of the area. My cousin decided we had to come back to get ice cream.

Lunch at Plaza Inn. It was good. My mom and aunt loved the building and everyone loved the food. The white pasta sauce has meat in it for those who care.

We hit Tomorrowland first to do Star Tours and Buzz (bunch of chickens they are.. no Space Mtn).. Cousin hated Star Tours, everyone loved Buzz. It was a riot watching my mom shoot at the all the Zs and excaim I GOT ONE! We made it down to Mansion (everyone loved it), walked around NoS (aunt loved the stores), hit JC where we had a skipper who was eating his microphone then hit Indy with a FP (everyone but the cousin loved it). By then my aunt and cousin were done. They didn't want to see Fantasyland because they "saw it in FL" and they were annoyed that the lines were too long (20-30 minutes).

We went to Storytellers for dinner. My family enjoyed their food but the rest of the experience warrented a letter to the GM (I'll just say that my food never made it to the table). The vegetable soup has a beef broth for those who care.

By then it was 8 and starting to rain so we left. After slick manuvering we made it on the 5th tram out and went home.

In conclusion, everyone had a good time, I finally have memories with my mom at DL. Being a tour guide to non-believers is wonderful but disappointing if you can't get that pixie dust into them. I have realized how blessed I am to have believers to go to the park with.

Thank you for reading

The End.
