Was this done during hunting season?
Did they have a permit?

Anyone who knows me knows how I feel about hunting and killing of innocent animals, but if the bear was killed during hunting season and they will be using the meat and fur then I can't be all that outraged.

Now if you'll excuse me, my Chef's salad (with turkey and ham) is calling my name.

Well, the kid is shown sitting on a bear skin rug (fully clothed of course

), so they may have used the fur (though we don't know if it is the same bear).

I'd have to think they would have had a permit and it was hunting season, otherwise we may not have heard about it.
