Went to Powell's this afternoon. I actually ended up getting the same clerk who had to deny me last night. She apologized again and we had a laugh.
I'll be along in the discussion forum eventually. I'm in no hurry to rush through. I want to savor the read. I've passed this on to Erin, who is, no doubt, driving her friends crazy by taking her time. |

Can somebody please re-label the Harry Potter threads?
Apparently there's this one about the release of the book, one about the rumoured spoilers of the book, one about the veracity of rumoured spoilers of the book, and now one about discussion of the actual book when read. (Not to mention the one about the movie). Sheesh. |

Ditto. I'm pausing this morning at page 388, start of Chapter 20 to ... of all things, go and see the Harry Potter movie (with thrilling 3-D finale) with zapppop and Babette.
I've never been so immersed in Harry Potter in my life. My tradition of reading the adapted book right after I see the movie leaves me reading TWO Harry Potter novels at once, plus still in the throes of seeing the film (today's 3-D version will be screening 3 for me). And there was the fun of the midnight mania bookstore madness, and more fun at my actual book purchase the following morning. Heheh, my cheerful post-DisneylandBirthday houseguests, SuPeR K! and Leigh-Ann left notes hidden throughout my house. One that finally spilled out of my Order of the Phoenix novel last night reads, "Harry Potter Called. He Hates You." ![]() |

...and the rumoured spoilers thread is simply going to fade away anyway, as the real spoilers pop up in 'Deathly Hallows Book Discussion **LoTs Of Spoilers**' .

That's why I didn't bother merging or re-naming any of the threads. There may be a few, but they are specific to their titles and will be of short duration.

We went to the Barnes & Noble party in Phoenix. We dressed up but no one "got" what we were. We tried to be too clever I guess.
![]() We were wizards dressed as muggles. I finished reading about 1AM last night after we drove back.
