Alas, no, 'twas an idea stolen from someone on an Oscar-Watching message board. But since it IS so similar to GC's clever sig, I'll post it as mine.

A Briony, for the record, is a character in Atonement played by three different women - all of whom sport a haircut just like Javier Bardem's in No Country. Alas, I have just spoilt the joke by explaining.

Boy am I glad I didn't bother to mention that one of the Brionys was definitely male...

Also, as an aside, for anyone who's interested, AMC is playing ALL of the Best Pictures nominees at the Bridge and in Tustin Saturday for about $30. I'm thinking about going. It beats sitting on the couch with the dog on a rainy Saturday...
