![]() The lights of Broadway and Hollywood are dimmer today at the passing of the legendary Fayard Nicholas. There will be a great tap dance-off in heaven tonight. Awesome performers both he and his brother Harold. They were oh so talented and very cool!

There was a cool MTV making-of video for Janet Jackson's 'Alright' video a long time ago. The Nicholas Brothers had a short cameo in it (along with Cab Calloway, Cyd Charisse etc.). At one point someone asked them what they thought of Janet and one of them said, 'She's good, but not as good as us.'
