[Capt Jack]

and so it has come at last
unavoidable undeniable unbelieveable
a familiar scent floating in an empty room
is what remains of all I once knew

an alien landscape surrounds me now
resplendent with with unopened doors and roads not taken
seen now appearing through the waning angelic mist
of a world that now fades like the waking from a dream

and so the journey begins
