July 17th Expectations...

My expectations, that the park will hit capacity around noon, there will be no need to stand in line at 3 AM, but folks should get there in the morning.

There will be a press event, but it will be smaller than the big event being held May 5th.

That there is about a 50% chance of them getting Space Mountain open for the 17th.

That it will be a good day to avoid rides and just people watch. (Maybe get on one or two original rides for historical purposes.)

Bring a "Grey Goose" water bottle, since once you get in Disneyland, you won't be able to leave without being locked out due to capacity issues. Get there early, and stock a locker or two.

To get a good seat for the fireworks, you will have to grab it mid-afternoon.

It will be wild, but also fun....
