Well, after 41 years of drinking his coffee he dies at 87. I'd say he found that coffee isn't so bad for your health after all.
 He was quite a successfull businessman, IMHO. He was personable, and cared about his customers (from what I hear, as I never met him). RIP Pete. I'll see you next to the Heaven Roast Coffee Pot some day.
