I really enjoyed Love, though it was really just choreography and pretty stuff with a little acrobatical thrown in occasionally. Most of my party liked it less, but I love The Beatles ... and I was really high.

I also liked Corteo a lot. So the last two shows I've been able to see have been good-to-great. Kooza's been out for nearly a year, but it won't be in L.A. till October. I haven't heard great things about it.

No doubt Cirque has likely passed its prime. But the sad mall thing was just pathetically unexpected.



They're opening a "permanent" show here in Hollywood next year. I really hope it doesn't suck.
