The farther away from me the Olympics are, the better as far as I'm concerned. So Rio was a good choice since I don't think I could stand the jingoism of Olympics in America again. The jingoism of American athletes in other countries is enough.

I know about three dozen people in Chicago and only one wanted the Olympics (obviously not a representatives sample) so I'm glad for them.
