Pincher bugs. aka Earwigs. Ew. We are having an invasion nightly. They seem to like the catbox for some annoying reason.
The good news is that I noticed the birds I've been feeding were feasting on the pincher bugs this morning. Between them and the toad, I hope they get it under control. You have no idea how gross they are until you've seen them covering a wall outside at dusk.
