Anything over 5 years is suspect, you can get them pretty reasonable at costco. Check the battery connections, make sure they don't look like they have a bunch of corrosion on them.

How do I know this? I had the same problem this morning with our van I drove it to work today to charge the battery.

Nope, the engine and everything was fine, at least electrically, no "click click" of a dead battery. It was almost like it was flooded. Anyway, working on getting the tow arranged...once it is in the shop, I'm hopefull I won't have any more surprises.
