Where do I find a USMC tunic?

Yeah I did not want to just join the USMC because of the uniform, it was part of it but not by far most of it, I only said it because it relates to this topic. I had a freind that was in the Marines that really loved serving and after 911 I was pretty pissed off at the people who flew planes into our buildings. It is the branch of the militay that if you get in it is very likely that you will get to really fight which is what I wanted to do, no offence but I am really glad I did not get in now since I really don't like the direction that the war on terror has gone. Don't get me wrong I support our troops and all I just don't support Bush's war (hopfully this statement will not open up a can of worms). I also had wanted to be a Marine since I was a little kid and even had a fake sword. Since I did not get in and really can't get into any branch that I can hope to see action I pretty much gave up on the military and went completly in the other direction by becoming an artist. Oh yea and I was also in Marching Band and loved the disapline.

Anyway I am going to still have to disagree with you though since I just see a USMC tunic as clothes once the person that had them gives them up. If it was an USMC tunic from a person that is on active duity then that is anouther story but I think once a Marine gives up a part of thier uniform to a trift store or whatever it becomes fasion nothing more, and if you have a problem with anybody it should not be me but the person that does not respect their uniform enough to give it up if you see that as such a big deal. I don't think its a big deal at all.

As for making my own I will see, but if I can get ahold of a real one that is what I really want to do (antique or new). And just let me say this, if the military did not want to have people wear uniforms as fasion then they should stop making such swanky duds!
