Yeah, that seems to be the confirmed story now, that a fire at a substation near Turkey Point triggered the nuclear plants to shut down and it went downhill from there. But when the story first broke (that I heard) it was that a fire at the Turkey Point plants shut them down.

Yeah that's what I heard too. It just took some time to get the cover-up team in place to erase all the real evidence, make it look like an accidental fire and then get the story out to the media.

Interesting. I've now run across multiple sources that pin this power outage on Chinese Hackers.

Of course the official line is still "No hackers here".
