I hate when I forget to put a pair of clean underwear in my gym bag.

Man... the person who takes over at 2 called and offered me her hours - about half an hour after I made plans for what I'd do when I get off. I considered cancelling and taking the hours, but then realized that I hadn't eaten and I'd have to go hunting for someone to tell that the phone wouldn't be covered for half an hour, meaning I'd probably have to explain that the other person wasn't feeling well, etc. and all the hassle that implies, plus rushing off for a quick burger instead of the lovely lunch I've been salivating for, plus, after you account for taxes, yes it's extra money, but not THAT much extra - just enough to make me feel guilty for not staying till 5. Plus, it wouldn't really be 3 extra hours if I have to take a half hour lunch, now would it?

So now I'm still getting off at 2, but I feel like crap about it.

And today I forgot to put my SWIM SUIT in my gym bag. GAH. I have to run home to pick it up, and drive back across town because the pool at the Hollywood franchise is under construction this month.

So at least you can go commando... I can't skinny-dip!

That's why I always use lined shorts for the gym (since I hate running in sweatpants).

But then I forget new socks. I hate putting wet socks back on.

So the lighting control computer for the giant computer lab I work in is out to lunch today. We're running on about 1/3 lighting, plus the general glow from monitors and system LEDs. It's actually kinda soothing.

ETA: Well what do you know, I post this and voila, lights are back.
