Edison will start “The Soup Kitchen” on Fridays (5pm-7pm) bringing “Depression Era cocktails at Depression Era prices.” The “Your 401K” is served in a tall glass with a card that reads, “Is your glass half empty or full?,” and “The Bail Out,” is some bourbon concoction. Drinks are 35 cents, plus free grilled cheese melts and tomato soup for more substantial comforting. 25% of sales go to local food banks and charities.
