Louis is unmatched. Gotta love him.
My list of favorites is long: Louis, The Bird, Ella, Billie, Miles, the Duke, etc., etc. Just heard a bit on NPR about a drummer, Roy Haynes. He's played with the greats and is still playing at 80. And from what they played on air...I gotta get some of his work, wow!
