Seriously, it is the ultimate derail. "Oh, she said 'f*ck.' Was that an appropriate word choice, or is she trying to shock me? I think she is. I like the word fvck. I don't usually say it other ways. As others here who know me irl can tell you, I have a bit of a dirty mouth. Besides, part of the point of the poem is that we often replace the real concept with a front of a pathetic replacement concept. To me, the real words are fvck, sh.t, etc, and the other words are people pretending they aren't actually saying the real words but still want to get the concept across.

Factchecking department: you don't have to exchange bodily fluids when you f*ck. That's what condoms are for.

Yeah, thought of that, though I consider french kissing a transfer of fluids. It's something that I might rework in the future...

That aside, although I think your thesis is a bit overstated, I thought the poem was quite well rendered.
