While it's not terribly surprising that I did not feel any of the recent quakes I have known about all of them almost as soon as you.

While I'm stuck here in the purgatory of the east coast, I still have a lot of family out in SoCal so I signed up for the USGS quake notification service Anything 4.0 or over and I'm emailed within minuets. I'm just waiting for the day I get the 9.0 message so I can sprint to my TV and not miss a second of the CNN coverage.
