By the time I was in school my Johny Carson watching days were over.........until I rediscoverd him in the 8th Grade when I set my own bedtime ..........I watched him nearly every night from then on.

Likewise, I watched him as often as I could from a very young age. There was just something so genuine about him. I never felt he was trying to be anybody, he was just himself and that was prefectly fine with me, and everyone else.

I always hoped he would pop up again somewhere, even if just for a brief interview or appearance. I never expected that when he left the Tonight Show, that we would never see him again in some regard.

Rest in peace, Johnny, and thank you for so many wonderful laughs and memories. You will be truly missed.
