It's true. Matterhorn Fan held an extremely hot flood light in place, and was ready to go for the extinguisher in case of accidental fire.

I guess I should explain. We used corn syrup and food coloring as blood during the filming. It was really gross and sticky. I had that stuff all over me.

It certainly was exciting to see smoke coming off a bulb that was about twice as powerful as the light socket was built to safely handle.
