Wow, what a coinkydink! I was thinking about the Squirrel Clique yesterday.
There was a bunch of commotion on our roof yesterday morning, really loud. (It's amazing how much noise those little critters can make.) I went outside to investigate and what I saw was X-rated. I do believe it might be squirrel mating season! Two squirrels were chasing each other around and a third came running up to them. They almost got into a pose like that picture that was posted recently, but the first two ran off before the other one could join in.  These squirrels were going at it all day yesterday. I even heard them after dark running around up there. They are quite amazing, the way they jump from the trees. Practially fly, really. I've seen them crawl on the side of our stucco house, too. I wish I had a picture of that, it was hilarious. They definitely are cheap entertainment.
