Funny, I've eaten at Naples three times. And it was three times too many. Always the worst service, and most horrible food. (Actually, the food rose to Meh on one occasion, but the service on another was the absolute worst service I've ever had at a restaurant.)

I've only been to Naples a couple times. And both times I think I bought Not Afraid fuzzy water there.

Napolini is great, Naples not so much.

I like Yamabuki but I have places I'd rather go if I want good Japanese food.

Food at Naples was adequate for the Disneyland resort (there really isn't any good food available without a lot of hassle so adequate is about what I hope for).

But the service was always awful (we ate there once and watched the server take the bread basket from one completed table, put it on a counter in the back and then it was delivered to another table). Another night we watched waiters throwing rolls at each other.

This is the reverse of Storyteller's where the food has almost always been pretty bad (I really don't understand the raves there) while the service has always been good (except once but that was with a group of 20 raucous people so I cut them some slack).

Au contraire, monsieur, the food at Le Jazz Kitchen is actually GOOD.

(Oh, if only I'd discovered that back in the days when there were No Kids Allowed.)

Hey, let's turn this into the thread about any Disney Resort restaurant except Yamabuki.

I will admit to ignorance to The Jazz Kitchen. Dietary restrictions renders much of the menu off limits. But what I had the one time I ate there wasn't great (no, I don't remember what it was, this was shortly after it opened).

Of course, now that we've passed the two year mark since the last time I was down there it may have all changed into being a gourmand's paradise.

Well, it's been more than 2 years since I ate at Naples, and I'm willing to chance it hasn't.

Storyteller's food has always been at least decent for me. I do like their corn chowder. But the main reason I like it is that it has always been a relatively easier place to seat a large group at the last minute. Not always, but that has been the reason I have eaten there a number of times.

Oh, and uh... I think I knew that Yamabuki was there. In honor of Andrew, I will miss this place.
