I think they need to make a water coaster that goes under the ship so you can be virtually keel haulled

They could have at least gone for a BIG watercoaster... underachievers.
![]() I'm just wondering if the Aquaduck is gonna use hydromagnetic drives or the older water/dewater technique for going uphill. I'm hoping they went with ProSlide (hydromagnetic) - they're a great company, and have a really good support staff (which is NECESSARY with high tech waterslides). What's REALLY funny about this, is there have been 3 previous ships built that were originally supposed to be the first to feature a watercoaster, but they've always been scaled back (I think Carnival had announced something with NBGS International- the originators of the water coaster, at that time).

But Disney would never scale anything back from their original concepts.
Never. No, not Disney. |

GD- I'm with you on the cabin with one minor point. We had a cabin on the Disney cruise that had a better orientation than other cabins; the door was on the long side of the rectangle, which made the room easier to move around in than a regular room.
Other than that, I'm with you in not spending much time in the cabin. I'm intrigued by the virtual porthole with characters, though.

When we went on our one and only cruise last year, we had a private balcony room. I actually liked having that for solitude when I wanted to sit outside and read.

I couldn't cruise without a balcony.

We are doing the Wonder's LA-to-Vancouver repositioning in April 2011 and staying onboard for a back-to-back to the first Alaska cruise. Thirteen nights, should be heavenly. Verandah stateroom, always. Hopefully no smokers in the next cabin forward like there were on our just-concluded cruise on the Magic.
The overnight in San Francisco should be interesting. Should we just go home for the day? Check on the cats, get the mail?
