Without any doubt, I would be eating a cheesesteak sandwich, maybe two. That's just me though.

Hmmm -- I think I would have gone to a Phillies game, popped into a few of Eliza's recommended museums and cemetaries, and consumed a cheesesteak sandwich for breakfast every morning. All while wearing ear plugs, of course. A city full of Fran Dreschers/Bobbie Fleckmans might be a lot to handle!

ETA- I spent a lot of summer vacations partying with my cousins at the Jersey shore. I never really noticed the accents too much. Probably had something to do with the partying. Oh, how I loved the Jersey shore!

If I enjoy Flogging Molly, will I also enjoy The Saw Doctors? Off to look and see if they're on iTunes...

They're playing here tonight in a cool little theater (I've seen Jem, Howie Day, the Pixies and Rufus Wainwright there).....I'm having mojitos with a friend after dinner.....might talk her into going with me to see them. With mint leaves between our teeth.

Jack: Tastes pretty good to me.

No. I'm not saying you won't like them, but they're more happy go lucky, and I don't necessarily recommend their recorded music. I think they're adorable, but much like the Newfoundland band, Great Big Sea, I wouldn't get the appeal until I saw them perform. There music has an energy that's often lacking in their recordings.

Dig Flogging Molly, though.

I'll feel bad if you don't enjoy them. But it is fun to watch the Irish fans lose their ****; they get so excited watching them. They just make me very, very happy.

Have a good night, whether you go or not. The Pixies are coming here June 3rd and I doubt I'll catch them. I ALWAYS miss the Pixies. I never have cash available when they come to town. Next paycheck, they'll probably already be sold out. Such a bummer.
