We had family friends that lived in Phoenix for a while. They say that one of the proverbial camel back breaking straws was the day it was so hot that the city shut down...not because you couldn't be outside in the heat (there really is something to that dry heat thing), but no one could actually touch anything without burning themselves. Especially cars, this being in the 80s when cars had so much exposed metal that they turned into branding irons at anything over 95 degrees.

I don't think I would mind it being that hot. Not that I'd want to just sit outside in it and evaporate or anything, but I like warm. Maybe I'm part lizard or something, but "comfortable" for me is generally quite a bit warmer than it is for most.

I must be part polar bear (got the blubber part covered), I love it cold.

same here. cold, you can continue to put on clothes and blankets until youre comfortable. in reverse, once you get to all skin, youre F'ed and suffering

Add me to the polar bear club. I hate heat. Last week in Seattle, it was in the 60's. People were walking around in coats and sweaters; I was in shorts and a t-shirt, and loving it!

I despise cold. And rain.

When I as in 4th grade, I lived up near WB in Vancouver, WA. Rained every flippin day. They made you go to recess in the rain. I only lived there 9 months, but it was more than enough. So I live in the desert now and that suits me just find.
