Hmm, I think he looks good as young Spock. Funny, as Sylar, I would have never thought he had the nose to pull off Nimoy, but he's certainly got the pronounded-enough probosis when he's got the pointy ears and hairdo.
Are there any prosthetics involved, or did I just miss the schnoz when I found him very attractive in Heroes? |

I seem to be alone on thinking he looks like a goof as Spock. What is with that monkey lip thing he is doing? He looks like he is about to scratch his armpit and make "ooh ooh" sounds.

I think he has lips like Barry Pepper. I think they always look like that. And, as someone who has big lips, I think he looks fine.
![]() But if he makes "ooh ooh" sounds during the Star Trek film, I'll totally go see it. |

I think he has that face because he was speaking when photographed.

I figure, but a silly face it is so I can't take seriously how he looks.

I'm wondering, though, what their takes on the characters will be. Are they going to go with their own spin or are they going to do impersonations of the actors?

Well, Ewan Macgregor managed to pull off a vague Alec Guiness impersonation without seeming as if it were a mere copycat performance.
They could take a lesson or two from that. But, um, I don't have high hopes for such nuance from, pffft, TV actors. |
