Tonight going home to crash, can't wake up today. Thursday night, to the opera to see Rigoletto (today is Verdi's birthday too).

Flowers at the office and my boss remembered my favorite cake (we go back almost 20 years) and she drove to SF and picked up a sacripantina for me.

Got a birthday gift on the way from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences en route (alas, NOT and Oscar) but some wonderful material for my manuscript.

It's early yet, but so far, a very good day and so nice to have so many warm birthday wishes from my friends at the LoT.

a beautiful bowl of pink roses and pink hydrangeas just showed up, obviously from someone who knows me. The card is signed "Rudy & Natacha" which I think is hilarious, but nobody I know is fessing up.
