They appear at public functions (such as "giant check" charity events), star in CM training videos, take part in events such as the 50th kick off where they had the ambassadors from each of the resorts world wide on sattelite, greet celebrity guests to the resort, etc. Each ambassador's term lasts one year (though the last set got to ride out the whole 18 month 50th term), after which new ambassadors are nominated and elected by the CMs. It's a big honor.
